Cost-per-Wear (in AI context: Cost-per-Inference)

intermediate
The cost of running a single AI prediction or generation. Similar to cost-per-wear in fashion (price divided by number of uses), cost-per-inference helps evaluate the real value of AI tools. A model that costs more but delivers better results can have a lower effective cost per useful output.
